AESTHETICALLY IMPERFECT

Hello lovelies,

I hope you all are doing great and yet again thank you so much for reading my blogs. If you're new to my website, welcome and do not forget to read my previous blogs too.

After a lot of contemplation, I finally thought to write this blog with lots of hope and to take an initiative in changing the mind set of people.⤵️

Before you read this blog, I would personally request you to take a moment and think whether you actually accept the real self-flawed version of yourself? If you do, take a bow. As of my experience, I've seen most of us deny to accept and embrace our flaws that we have been gifted with.

As Greg Mottola said,
"For better or worse, I am as
fascinated with human flaws
as anything".

Could we not simply think those scars, marks, freckles as a part of our beautiful skin? The moment we realize that these marks are as beautiful as our soul, we could become inspiration to many such women, especially to teenage girls running behind several treatments to cover up the beautifully crafted flaws of their skin.

Somewhere in the race to cover our scars , we loose ourselves. In the race of proving ourself as an epitome of perfection, we forget that we are, after all, human beings and we are meant to be imperfect. Even those beautiful women on the covers of big magazines we look upto, are flawed.
Did we ever look upto a women with those wonderful freckles on her skin and realize how lucky she is to be someone different than us? How lucky she is to have such a beauty which is different than us? No, instead we take that exceptional beauty in a totally different way. What we do, is demean them and the society never gets tired to treat them as someone who is flawed and ugly.
That's the saddest part and the sole reason why you and I think twice before leaving our home without covering those acne marks.

The fear of being judged is something that had been haunting us since our body went through certain hormonal changes and pimples started popping out like an uninvited guest. The fear that those unknown people would mock at our skin is something that is still there within us.  I personally went through those emotional trauma back in my early teenage days and tried using all such methods to cover it up. Its no new and its silly of us if we do not accept it.
Let me ask you a question. Why did we even give those people an opportunity to judge us? Those are the kind of people who do not know how to appreciate one's effort and raw beauty.
Our real beauty silently speaks a lot  about our personality. I would request each one of you reading this, please do not let your insecurities make you so weak that it hides your personality and bravery.

We are girls, we are as beautiful as that flower which is flawed.  To make people understand that these marks are a part of our beauty, we have to take a step towards it. We have to be brave enough to grant ourselves the way we are so that we could shut them before they point their finger on any such beauty.

Embrace you're flaws. Remember the next time when someone passes a comment, laugh at it. Then they'll understand that you're brave enough to break down with their bullying.

We all are aesthetically imperfect.

I have personally asked a few known faces who are doing really great in their field about their opinion, and here's what they had to say⤵️

Pushpak Sen aka The Bong Munda

"To be honest, I am jealous of people with freckles. They add so much drama to one’s countenance and personality. Also, it’s an add on to the feathered hat as freckles are unique for each one who possesses them, as like fingerprints, no two person can have the same arrangement of freckles.
It’s high time we appreciate and embrace them as a feature of beauty rather than camouflaging them as a flaw".

Arunima Ghosh aka Style Reflection

"I once read a quote by Nikita Gill which said -
"Those freckles make you seem like a galaxy of stars, just waiting to be explored and loved."
Truly amazing isn't it? In the era where we are accepting different body types, acne and stretch marks and making our mentality more liberal and righteous, I feel freckles should be embraced too. It's more like a beauty mark and less like the way we have seen it till date".

    Anwesha Datta
(@fravashi_)

" I have oily skin, because of which I have loads of acne on my forehead and chin, which appear very frequently and periodically. It resulted in a major lack of confidence in me,and I used to feel weird stepping out of the house. I used to constantly feel that people are staring at them and judging me. Why,you ask? Because our society has always associated clear and flawless skin with beauty and confidence. What people tend to forget is that getting freckles, acnes or pimples are completely natural. We can't control it.
It's high time that people learn to embrace the beauty in others, instead of looking down on them for things they can't control. The fact that you guys decided to highlight this, makes me so happy and proud. It's time we take a step forward and try and bring a change. The whole concept of 'beauty' is subjective, and we should learn to accept and love ourselves no matter what. 🌸".

Being someone who has been bullied back in her past,to a limit where I was no more comfortable to go out in front of anyone except my family without a touch of makeup on my face, I know how hard it is for people to actually embrace their flaws. It is easy to ask people to not to hide their deformity or their marks but isn't so for them. The thought that there will be comments waiting for you and people making fun of you is pretty uncomfortable, well, I have been there literally all my life and I know how bad that feels but trust me there's nothing as comforting like when you start embracing your self, when you stop caring about what someone else will think and just wear your flaws as a jewel, or rather just stop counting your appearance as a flaw. You are beautiful my dear. Learn to love your self. It's a wonderful feeling, took me countless years of my life to realise this but trust me once I learned so, there was no going back. The day I stopped putting on makeup as a mask to hide my acne marks and only wore it to enhance my looks, was when I learned feel beautiful. Do it. Just for once don't hide your flaws and wear it with pride and meet the world, I promise you will feel way more sttonger than you have ever been. So,the next time they pass a comment, laugh along. Stop demeaning your self, don't let your insecurities make you conscious and hide your personality. Also, always know that the people who are laughing at you are no one extraordinary, they only laugh at you to make themselves feel better about their sad life, if there was anything good about themselves they wouldn't be there laughing at you but rather would be busy brushing themselves up.
Stay strong my love and be brave. :) "

THE PASTEL- VINTAGE TOUCH

Hello everyone, it's been a while! Welcome to my blog! I hope you all are doing well. If you're new to my blog, don't forget to read my previous posts.  For today's blog, I have styled my basic pieces of clothing in a vintage style. I have never been a fan of vintage looks and personally, my aesthetic is minimalism. So, I tried to blend in my basic pieces and gave them a little vintage touch.  Recently, I have started loving the pastel hues and nudes. They set up a totally different mood. Outfit For the look, I have paired a basic white ruffled shirt with a pastel faux suede pinafore dress.  The black fluffy ring came along with the dress and that creates an 'emphasis' to the whole outfit along with the beautiful ruffles. Makeup I have kept the makeup very minimal as well and tried to blend in everything in a nude monochromatic look.   Final look Outfit details White ruffle shirt - Max Fashion India (Rs 799 only)  (buy similar here) Pastel faux suede pinafore dr...

Let's talk about FASHION?

Hello lovelies, I hope you guys are doing well and yet again thank you so much for reading my blogs. Welcome back to my website and if you're new, don't forget to check my previous posts. . In today's blog, I am talking about "Fashion" in its truest form. We will discuss about how Fashion is being misinterpreted by 'fashionistas' and how different it is when we look into the realness of the fashion world! Being a Fashion designing student for two years, I myself came to know so much about the fashion industry and well, studying the subject is not that easy as it is usually thought. That's a different story, might talk about it later! In today's world where the generation is quite dependent rather hooked on the digital world, we see so many budding influencers, some portraying fashion so beautifully while some of these influencers make us feel uncomfortable and judge us when we get an insight of their extravagant life with Pinteresty ward...
